FAQ
-
Do we do our own editing?
Yes, we do. We have an editing studio to kitties with panels to enhance the workflow, working mainly with Davinci Resolve Studio.
-
How long does it take to get setup for a shoot?
For weddings, we travel light and try to contain all equipment in our vehicle because the wedding photographer does not want to be limited to photos because of our equipment in the background (like tripods, video cameras, generators, etc.). When shooting on a film set, we allow 1 hour to get the gazebo, generator, computers, screens, and battery banks set up and follow health and safety rules.
-
Do we have Public Liability insurance?
Yes, we use Hiscock EC 785/2004-compliant commercial drone insurance, with £10 million public liability insurance. Hiscock, to date, was the only supplier of drone insurance which allows you to fly commercially.

How does a client know they are dealing with a professional and reputable company?
826Raw operates under CAA laws, which means we have had to undergo certain checks to prove we follow the law. Also, a client is free to ask that we supply a copy of our Public Liability Insurance. We log all flights and speeds and always display our operator's numbers on all drones, which can be looked up on the CAA website. As for reputation, this comes with experience and customer testimonials, as there is no certificate for being good at what you do.

Can anyone fly a drone?
There are many rules surrounding drones; as we are a commercial company, the rules exclude recreational flights and hobbyists. This means you need to have commercial insurance and certificates for flying a drone, perform risk assessments, and ensure that there is a site survey and signage to make people aware a drone is flying in the area. Each intended flight is also required to be listed publicly before the flight takes place.

Can we (the client) have our own director?
